Direct Media Group Ltd has seen a steady flow of existing and new business during the Summer months.
Home improvements, has been a particularly strong area for the business as people continue in these austere times to improve rather than move. One client in this sector is now expanding and opening an additional fourth depot to capitalise on their market share.
The new Ayrshire depot has increased this clients business with Direct Media Group Ltd by 50% as new local advertising has been booked in the locality to the new branch, with press and outdoor forms of advertising booked into September. This client is investing 3.5 million in Ayrshire over a three year period and employing initially 12 new staff so all good news in difficult trading times for many businesses.
Entertainments has also been busy for the company as organisations such as long standing client Glasgow Ski School has continued to advertise throughout the Summer to bring schoolchildren in for lessons while the Schools are off until later in August. The Ski School focusses generally on local advertising in such publications as the South Side News and also on street Pod advertising.

Our European dental client Dental Centre Hungary has received a steady stream of enquiries via Direct Media Group Ltd who are acting as their appointed Scottish Representatives. Several of our Scottish patients will travelling the treatment centre near Budapest later in August and into September to complete their various implant procedures. More than 12 Scottish patients have now travelled and all are delighted with the quality and affordable treatment they have received. See following patient endorsement of Sandra Mckerl from Glasgow:
“I would like to endorse The Dental Centre in Hungary, anyone worried about going there need not. The whole procedure, from start to finish, was totally trouble free, Dr Bobath and all the team, from Dentists to reception staff and the local Scottish representative, could not have been any better, everything was taken care of.
“When I first contacted them to inquire about dental implants they arranged an x-ray, this was done without charge, I was then seen in Edinburgh, a plan was drawn up and price given(no money is paid until you have your treatment) The clinic is first rate, all staff properly qualified, registered with the British dental council.
“All I had to do was book flights to Budapest, everything else was taken care of by the Clinic, my husband came with me, we were met at the airport taken to our very comfortable apartment, treatment commenced next day, I had seven implants and three crowns, I also needed bone augmentation and a sinus lift, treatment was in two stages, six months apart, payment was per stage.
“The cost was a fraction of the British prices, treatment was first class. We spoke to other clients at the clinic, all enthused about their treatment.”
